Kicking off Severe Weather Awareness Week in the coolest way, the Palace Theatre along with local emergency preparedness agencies bring you the classic weather movie “Twister.” This 1996 epic disaster film was written by Michael Crichton and starred Bill Paxton, Helen Hunt, Cary Elwes, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Jamie Gertz and was based on actual work by scientists at NOAA’s National Severe Storms Laboratory.
