Firefighter positions have a base starting salary range depending on certifications:
*Non-certified Firefighter (trainee) —– $36,233.60
*Firefighter I or II —– $41,849.60
*Firefighter AEMT —– $48,339.20
*Firefighter Paramedic —– $53,289.60
Salary adjustments are made when employees complete their probationary period and certification requirements. Please refer to job description for department functions.
Candidates must possess a valid TN Drivers’ License and will be required to complete, and pass, a department conducted physical agility test, medical physical and drug screen. Applications and resumes will be accepted until position is filled.

The Police Officer position will start at an annual salary of $36,233.60 for a non-certified police officer (trainee).
A POST certified police officer will start at an annual salary of $45,922.24 with a 5% salary increase at the conclusion of 6 months ($48,339.20).
