MAINTENANCE WORKER-PARKS AND RECREATION
FULL-TIME

OPERATIONS ASSISTANT-PALACE THEATRE/CROSSVILLE DEPOT
PART-TIME

We are accepting online applications for a PART-TIME position with our Palace Theatre. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations and events at the Palace Theatre and Crossville Depot. Hours of work will not exceed 28-30 hours per week. ENGINEER IN TRAINING
FULL-TIME

We are accepting online applications and resumes for the position of Engineer in Training in our Engineering Department. This is a full-time position with complete benefit package. This individual will assist with the design of civil engineering projects for public works, ensuring compliance with all codes, laws and regulations, standards, policies and procedures.

The normal schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM.

FIREFIGHTER - CROSSVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT
FULL-TIME

Firefighter positions have a base starting salary range depending on certifications:

*Non-certified Firefighter (trainee) —– $34,507.20

*Firefighter I or II —– $37,860.16

*Firefighter AEMT —– $43,728.88

*Firefighter Paramedic —– $48,214.40

Salary adjustments are made when employees complete their probationary period and certification requirements. Please refer to job description for department functions.

Candidates must possess a valid TN Drivers’ License and will be required to complete, and pass, a department conducted physical agility test, medical physical and drug screen. Applications and resumes will be accepted until position is filled.

POLICE OFFICER - CROSSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER - CROSSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
FULL-TIME

Qualified candidates will be required to pass a preliminary background check and complete an interview process before a panel of police officers. Candidates will be contacted individually for information to complete the preliminary background check.

The Police Officer position will start at an annual salary of $34,507.00 for a non-certified police officer (trainee).

A POST certified police officer will start at an annual salary of $43,728.88, with a 5% salary increase at the conclusion of 6 months.

The job of Police Officer is a full-time position that includes a full benefits package. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, retirement, paid holidays and paid personal leave.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be a citizen of the United States.
Be a high school graduate or possess a GED. No waivers will be granted for minimum education requirements.
Never been convicted of, pled guilty to, or entered a plea of Nolo Contendere to any felony charge or to any violation of Federal or State laws or City ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor or controlled substance.
Never been released or discharged under any other than honorable discharge from any of the armed forces of the United States.
Have his/her fingerprints on file with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Pass a post-employment offer physical and drug screen by a physician chosen by the City of Crossville.
Be free of all apparent mental disorders as described in the Diagnostic and Statistical maual of Mental Disorders, Third Edition (DSM-II) of the American Psychiatric Association.
Pass a psychological exam by a psychiatrist or psychologist appointed by the City of Crossville.
If applicant is not certified, they must be able to attend and complete the Basic Police Academy.
